αtμ – “way I feel”

If someone were to tell you that Ann Arbor, Michigan is the place for smooth electronic hip-hop, you might find it hard to believe. However, what the young Arbor native αtμ is proving, is that electronic music has a home in this not too distant location.

While only a minute and a half in length, αtμ‘s latest single “way I feel” gives wave of relaxingly smooth beats, soft vocal tones, and an underpinning of R&B and soul. Vocals that are indecipherable at best, αtμ‘s beats would seem not needing, rather unkind to full vocals, and yet, his singles still appear seamless without.

To really get an understanding of how αtμ goes about creating such unique sounds without losing you in boredom though, you really have to listen to him. And with 24 other tracks located on his Soundcloud, there’s plenty more where this came from.
