What's This?

Back in 2010 at a Handsome Furs gig in Malta, I remember seeing a guitarist dressed in a tiger onesie belting out songs for lovers.

Presenting himself as Bark Bark Disco, Ian Schranz had brought the lo-fi factor to Malta. Inspired by the likes of Daniel Johnston, Ian has always been ahead of the game.

Releasing music videos of women running naked and dance battles between gangs, Bark Bark Disco has once again pushed the envelope by releasing his new single and video, “Honey I love You Now.”

Shot By Franco Rizzo in collaboration with Imitosis Media, the video is set in Malta’s capital city Valletta. It also features the likes of both Brodu, Yews, and some of Malta’s inner circle of indie musicians. Watch it above.

Bark Bark Disco’s new album ‘Holy Smokes’ will soon be released on vinyl. In the meantime, download this dancey/lo-fi pop tune from Bandcamp.
