What's This?

Brooklyn indie soul imprint Big Crown Records (home to Lady Wray, El Michels Affair and The Shacks) have reissued a proto-R&B classic from 60s soul band Sunny & the Sunliners. First performing their Chicano pop rock love songs in Spanish, the San Antonio based ensemble began recording material in English during the early 60s. “Should I Take You Home” will more than satisfy your craving for an authentically old school soul jam. Big Crown will release a full compilation of Sunny & the Sunliners later this year. Listen to “Should I Take You Home.”
