Blockhead, born Tony Simon, has had a lengthy music career as an American hip-hop producer in Manhattan. Mostly known for producing along side Aesop Rock, Tony gained a new fan base from the song “The Music Scene” recently when the psychedelic beat was featured on an episode of ‘Off The Air’ — a late night show on Adult Swim. It provides heavy drumbeats, simultaneously joined with a mosaic of synth sounds and vintage voice overs. The tune mostly reflects in the same way, as the artist Tobacco and on the whole “The Music Scene” creates an atmosphere that never fails to prove displeasing; despite being released well over a year now. Does  this mean that you can’t still share this track some love? Well, that’s for you to decide.
