What's This?

Awful Records signee Faye Webster started off a mini tour with her band in NYC last week. As she entered the stage, donning an all-white jumpsuit and visor, it was clear that Faye was in her element.

Faye Webster performed her first song “Remember When” with such ease accompanied by her three bandmates. She revealed herself not only with her quirky jokes in between every song but also with painful truths inspired by the music from her debut album. She even performed new singles such as “Kingston,” which she announced she’s releasing next month.

One of her bandmates, her drummer, turned out to be Charlie Heaton who plays Will’s brother Jonathan in the hit show Stranger Things. I had the pleasure to speak to Charlie about his drumming skills and how he started his acting career. Charlie said, ” I’ve always been a drummer, acting just kind of happened randomly. So when Faye asked if I could play for her shows, I said of course!”

The future for this alternative folk artist is very bright so be sure to check out her upcoming music coming later this year.
