However, one artist that doesn’t seem to be concerned by this is Britain’s layering wizard, laymedown, otherwise known as Liam Gallagher.
Having only recently brought up the side-project from his mainstay position in the London duo Siloet, Liam looks to have gone down a more diverse and softer route with his new project. The first two singles that the young producer has unveiled are entitled, “X” and “U.” While “X” starts off a lot like The Weeknd‘s “Enemy,” both singles slowly form into a liquifying maze of loops and samples that prove to be incredibly relaxing.
