What's This?

Montreal-based indie dance band Men I Trust performed their smooth hits with ease this past Saturday in NYC. The trio, composed of lead singer Emma, guitarist Jessy, and pianist Dragos, performed a sold out show at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right.

Local Brooklyn band Barrie were the opening act for Men I Trust. They performed their debut single, “Canyons”, which offered a dreamy synth pop feel and really got the crowd moving. They also performed a few unreleased tracks that are said to be coming soon.

Despite it being their first time in NY, Men I Trust formed a powerful connection with the crowd. Leading their calm yet funky melodies, frontwoman Emma grooved around while singing and playing guitar effortlessly. Performing one of their recent singles, “I Hope To Be Around”, the crowd recited the chorus perfectly which left the band members in amazement as they gazed upon the audience.

Overall, Men I Trust is a definitely a band to check out live. They will be heading back to the states in June so keep a look out!
