Puerto Rico’s Buscabulla–aka the husband-wife tropical funk duo consisting of Raquel Berrios and Luis Alfredo Del Valle–have returned with another phenomenally good EP. The band’s first effort, was co-produced with Dev Hynes and released via Paris-based fashion line and music label Kitsuné. Just over two years after their debut, Buscabulla are back with four new songs, released on their own imprint Baby Making Records. EP II is a sweeping, surreal listen full of dreamy synth-funk numbers and left-leaning R&B grooves that expand on the band’s incredibly dank sound. The new EP features a collab with fellow Brooklyn artist Helado Negro called “Frío.” Listen.
