What's This?

Melbourne’s Remi Kolawole, who releases funky, fly-as-hell tracks under the pseudonym REMI, is getting ready to drop his forthcoming album Divas and Demons via House Of Beige. The record’s lead single “For Good,” features vocals from Sampa The Great, keys from Hiatus Kaiyote‘s Simon Mavin and production from longtime collaborator Sensible J. “Where’s your self-esteem, gorgeous,” he ponders on the track’s cheeky pickup line, “Did it go when I told you that I was a cheat, gorgeous/ I had to come clean, even if it made you smash my Nintendo Wii, gorgeous.”

Stream REMI’s Call It What You Want (F.Y.G. ACT:2) mixtape.
