What's This?

Richmond, Virginia’s Minor Poet is the Zombies and Beach Boys-inspired psych pop project of producer and singer-songwriter Andrew Carter and his three bandmates. On the newly premiered track, “Judith Beheading Holofernes,” his striking, cinematic style of writing recounts a serendipitous affair with an art school student. Judith and Holofernes pop up as a visual reference throughout the groovy love ballad, like a grave omen for what’s to come.
