What's This?

Early last week, to the surprise and excitement of many, The Naked and Famous released their first new single since 2010’s breakthrough album, Passive Me, Aggressive You. The single, which was a collaboration between TNAF and fellow Kiwis, Kids of 88, brought most of you to your knees as you sang the praises of the band. So, to keep the momentum going, the band have released Passive Me, Aggressive You (Remixes & B-Sides) which includes a series of unreleased and previously unheard tracks and remixes.

Some of those tracks, which I am disappointed not to have discovered earlier, look to have surfaced at some point during the release of the initial album. The ones that standout in-particular include “Sow,” “Wild,” and the last week’s “A Source of Light.” Of the remixes, there appears to be “Young Blood” reworks from Chiddy BangUnknown Mortal Orchestra and a very promising one from TV on the Radio guitarist and record producer, David Andrew Sitek.

You can listen to “Sow,” “Wild,” “Machinery” and “Bright Lights” below thanks to some of our fellow YouTubers. If you would like to purchase yourself a copy of Passive Me, Aggressive You (Remixes & B-Sides), you can do that through iTunes [here].
