Video: M83 – “Wait”

Director pairing Fleur & Manu recently rose to infamousy in the directoral world through creating truly awe-inspiring, and sometimes hard to follow music videos for M83‘s smash-hits, “Midnight City” and “Reunion.” So, to wrap up the third instalment in their trilogy of videos, the duo – in association with The Creator’s Project – came together one last time to paint a visual for M83‘s most expansive single yet, “Wait.”

Speaking on the video, Fleur & Manu, “felt it was important to re-connect with a meaningful subject that would have an echo in today’s world. The promise of a new cycle, seen through the kid’s eyes.”; for this reason, the duo have continued with their direction of children with supernatural powers and their weird affinity for using them.

While the video seems as easy to follow as any of the duo’s past works, the alignment of sequences falls perfectly in-line with the slowly building masterpiece — the results of which can clearly be seen in the video below.
