Since the release of their debut EP Hemiplegia, Brooklyn’s HAERTS have been busy promoting themselves. Now that they’ve finally broken their way onto the airwaves, it looks as though they have started to prep themselves for the release of their debut album. During their recent visit to CMJ in New York, the stalwarts met up with Seattle’s renowned radio station KEXP to perform a series of new songs for those who attended their show at Judson Memorial Church. In addition to “Wings,” “All The Days” and “Heart”—which they performed for Yours Truly earlier in the year—the band gave way to two new songs which go by the names of “Hope” and “Giving Up.” “Hope,” the more reserved of the two, finds the band in a more affectionate mood, where as “Giving Up” sees them returning to their soaring 80s ethos. Both performances can be watched below via KEXP.
