What's This?

3 months ago, Town Hall released their debut album Roots & Bells, which was recently promoted by none other than Young the Giant. This three-piece band came out this album expressing their simplistic, mellow, and vocally strong sound that really exemplifies what indie music is and has become.

The album starts off strong with the song “Mary A. Longden” and carries the listener through soothing vocal harmonies, soft lively guitar riffs, and light basic drum beats until the album rightfully ends with a song simply titled “Food”. With each song comes a different theme between something light hearted and fun to something more somber and deep. Alternating vocalist Phoebe and Stefan both compliment eachother fantastically, sometimes singing solo and sometimes blending harmonies together. Either way you have them, they definitly shine throughout the album.

You can check out the album as well as download some free EPs [here] and stop by Town Hall’s Facebook to show your support and wish Stefan, Phoebe, and Jesse the best of luck for their upcoming years as fantastic musicians.
