What's This?

New York-based DJ/artist AMRIT released her debut EP, Lies, two months back with producer Sene (of the Brooklyn R&B-pop duo denetia and sene.). AMRIT is a strange beast, a little Ke$ha, a little Peaches, a little Hannah Diamond.  “Mouth,” the second cut on her five-track EP, may not have much on Beyonce’s “Blow,” but it’s bound to be your new favorite song about cunnilingis (AMRIT also has a song called “Blow,” which unfortunately is not about cunnilingis). “You don’t know me, you don’t own me/ I just like it when you blow me,” AMRIT sing speaks in cool monotone, “We don’t need to act like phonies/ We ain’t fam, we ain’t homies.”
