What's This?

Late last summer, emerging rapper Bbymutha dropped the campy, queer, amateurish music video for her phenomenal single “RULES”. The Tennessee MC popped off practically overnight, receiving cosigns shortly after from the likes of SZA and Kehlani. Bbymutha’s latest mixtape, Muthaz Day 2, expands on the MC’s ballsy and empowering vein of rap music (“I stopped trippin’ over dick and now I’m gettin’ rich,” she spits on “Lilith”). The mixtape features production from female rapper-beatmaker and A$AP FERG affiliate Crystal Caines (“Bulma”), Rock Floyd and a supremely dope Grimes instrumental. “Genesis,” named after Grimes’ 2012 hit of the same name, has gotta be one of Bbymutha’s fattest tracks, a near-perfect beat for this mother of four to let it all hang out. Listen.

Bump Bbymutha’s Muthaz Day 2.

Here’s another killer new Bbymutha joint produced by Joey Labeija and LSDXOXO.
