What's This?

While being upbeat and fun is definitely a staple of Brooklyn based indie-pop singer Madelin’s repertoire what is far more important to the intrepid performer is that her music is real. Madelin draws from her lived experiences to craft her whimsical, yet still down to earth tunes and it makes for a signature sound that is as unique as it is infectious.

“‘Girl I Never Was’ is the first song I wrote after I discovered my bisexuality, it’s about accepting your past and present self with love. I’m excited to share this sentiment with people who will, hopefully, be able to relate to, and also dance to it,” said Madelin

Her new tune and video touches on some pretty heavy emotions and big concepts, but it does so with the wink of a performer who tries not to take herself too seriously.
