D∆WN, formerly known as ex-Danity Kane member Dawn Richards, has dropped her second single from Redemption aka The Red Era. The project’s first single “Hollywood” was great, but this new joint “Not Above That” is another beast entirely. Teasing the chorus with a touch of tastefully implemented EDM themes, the drop offers a thrilling head rush of glitchy synthlines and polyrhythmic programmed drums. “That’s why I call you up at four in the morning,” D∆WN sings on the last chorus, “‘Cause I’m not above that.”
