What's This?

GTA this, GTA that. In case you’ve been asleep these past couple of days, GTA V is the talk of the town– thanks in large-part to its soundtrack. From artists like Jai Paul, Wavves, Cashmere Cat and even Flying Lotus–who I might add, has his own radio station in the game–it’s safe to say part of the game’s success stems from its music. The one song that stands out the most though, would have to be “Sleepwalking,” a song which The Chain Gang of 1974 made exclusively for the game. While it’s chalk full of deep-cutting synths and dreamy electronics, “Sleepwalking” is deceivingly menacing. Its glossy soundscape does little to reign it in, either. Between Kamtin Mohager’s propulsive vocals and its tidal wave of synths, “Sleepwalking” is the perfect piece of electronica to kick off your GTA V experience.
