The debut album from London-native producer, previously based in places like Berlin and Chile among others, Dario Rojo Guerra will be released as Nature Boy on March 23rd. Guerra’s previous efforts as Flako were ambitiously disparate—the dramatic doomsday synthwork of “Kuku” is lightyears away from the sprawling R&B takedown of “Illusion”—and his first full-length effort works to concentrate and distill those divergent energies into one cohesive, sixteen-track record. On this lead single, the ninth track sequenced on debut Nature Boy, Flako collaborates with Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, who in the past has worked extensively with artists like Flying Lotus and Kimbra. The instrumental track is a gorgeous expanse of surging melodies and pulsating rhythms, adorned with Ferguson’s signature orchestral imaginings. Listen and vibe.
