While I’ve yet to find the perfect women (aside from Anna Kendrick), I have found the perfect song for me! Seeing as that I’m still bursting at the seams with excitement, though, I am going to keep this brief.
A quick search of Great Good Fine Ok would suggest that this band have yet to even appear as a blip on the radar, but their resplendent new single “You’re The One For Me” has undoubtedly caught wind within the blog world. The band’s unmistakeable resemblance to Delorean and fellow Brooklyn newcomers Panama Wedding has got me up in arms, and I can tell you, I am not the only one that feels this way.
While “You’re The One For Me” boasts some smooth and quickly versed vocals, its real anchor is its gauzy, sun-drenched backdrop. A light brush of electro-pop and bubbly beats do wonders for this song and both contribute to that utterly infectious feel. In other words, if you don’t go absolutely mental after hearing this single, you may as well not have ears.
