What's This?

Harlem-based future soul duo Jazze Belle dropped a few exceptionally good tracks (“Dark Arts,” “SCW”) last year, with singer-songwriter Taylor Simone donning a MC/vocalist swagger in the tradition of Georgia Anne Muldrow. On the Jazze Belle’s debut EP, Go To Bed Standing Up, Taylor takes a more straightforward approach toward future soul by demonstrating her talents as a singer. Her partner Jett makes surreal R&B productions, serene and compelling beats by way of Soft Glas (“No Endings”) and Sampha (“Everyday’s Tomorrow”).
