What's This?

Singer-songwriter JT Norton and producer Reed Kackley are back with a brand new EP as Haulm. Now divided between Austin, Texas and Brooklyn, New York, the electro-house R&B duo connect every couple of months to make music, generally constructing tracks remotely. Despite the distance, their chemistry as Haulm is clear.

Reed writes from a place of painful emotional honesty on the lead single to their upcoming EP, “Loss.”  “‘Loss’ is about that wall you come up against in a relationship where you feel like you’ve got nothing more to offer,” wrote Norton in an email. “It dances around that feeling of self-loathing, where you usually end up ruining the relationship out of self-sabotage.” The track might be steeped in serious feels, but there’s no shortage of energy on “Loss.” We’re pleased to premiere the newly released song below.
