What's This?

Nai Palm (frontwoman of Melbourne, Australia’s Hiatus Kaiyote and reigning R&B soul goddess) has announced the release of her debut full-length album as a solo artist–and we are losing our shit. The forthcoming LP, Needle Paw, is expected for release on October 20. Our first taste of the LP is “Homebody,” a tremendously beautiful song, that demonstrates Nai Palm’s shift in focus for her solo material. The solo record promises to be a largely acoustic, stripped-back collection of original songs, covers and Hiatus Kaiyote tunes, including renditions of Jimi Hendrix’s “Electric Ladyland” and David Bowie’s “Blackstar”. We have no doubt this will be one of 2017’s most captivating releases.

Hear “Homebody” below and check out a short Q&A with Nai Palm where she discusses the new LP.
