In the world of pop music, few artists have mastered the art of songwriting and production better than HONNE. With a flawless track record and the backing of a major label, they’ve got all the ingredients they need to become a household name. And judging by their latest single, it’s only a matter of time before they get their big break.
Not to be confused with “Love The Jobs You Hate,” “Someone That Loves You” is an expertly-crafted pop song with all the endearing qualities of the duo’s earlier work. But while it bears their mark, HONNE can’t take all the credit. Joining them on the mic is fellow up-and-comer Izzy Bizu, who’s had her own share of hits over the last couple of years.
Much like JONES, HONNE’s previous collaborator, Bizu makes for the perfect accomplice. With a simple, yet understated voice, she holds her own, matching Andy Clutterback note-for-note. Despite the contrast in their voices, the result is remarkably refreshing. Once again proving that two is always better than one.
