What's This?

Houston, Texas may not seem like the hot new place to go looking for the funkiest dance jams in the country, but with bands like Wrestlers releasing tunes out of the southwestern city, it’s sure to earn that reputation fast.

Wrestlers newest single “Keep My Cool” is a funky, dancey, little number that evokes sounds somewhat akin to the pop-funk master, The Purple One himself, Prince. That’s not to say Wrestlers are on their way to a legendary musical career the magnitude of one of the all-time great artists of our time. But as long as they keep writing fun and upbeat, retro-sounding songs like this gem, they should have the world boogieing on down.

The trio of Aidan Kennedy, David Elkin, and Trevor Scott make up this dynamic dance-pop outfit and “Keep My Cool” is the first single off their forthcoming eponymous EP–due out this fall.
