Native New Zealander Jordan Rakei took London by storm in 2016, touring to sold out audiences in support of his fantastic debut record, CLOAK, a moving exploration of progressive soul. Earlier today, Rakei debuted his new project Dan Kye, a dance-focused alter-ego for dank, club-ready jams. The first Dan Kye release, Joy, Ease, Lightness, contains no shortage of soul, narrowing in on a form of rhythmically audacious jazz-house. The EP was released via Rhythm Section International, a London-based dance party and record label that hosts several amazing talents.
