What's This?

Chloe Kaul and Simon Lam are Kllo, a rising electronic and R&B duo from Melbourne, Australia. The band’s newest single, their first in nearly a year, discards the bright textures and upbeat tempos of their previous efforts. Kllo explore a darker, deeper sound on “Bollide,” named after a large meteor that explodes in the atmosphere with a dramatic flash. Its ominous house-influenced production is akin to Jim-E Stack‘s agile beatwork, while Chloe’s vocals mirror fellow R&B up-and-comers Kučka and Mizan.

“Bolide” is the first single to be released ahead of Kllo’s second EP Well Worn, due out August 5 via Ghostly, Different Recordings and Good Manners Records.
