What's This?

It takes a lot for a song to catch us by surprise, but every so often, one comes along and does just that. While the idea of dreamy, floor-rippling electronica isn’t a new concept, there’s something about “Purple Skies” that engenders a sense of euphoria. For No Limits—the auspicious duo behind this, and many other solid electronic offerings—the “drop” is an integral part of their set up. At a time when the “drop” holds massive importance, Jordan Roman and Jack Brady reach for the stars with expansive and massively blissed-out climaxes.

For nearly four minutes, No Limits take you on a trip through the space and time, with heavy emphasis on “space.” When the three-minute mark rolls around, the duo really kick things into high-gear, sending a heat wave of smooth beats, lush synths and humid atmospherics rushing towards you. If you listen closely enough, “Purple Skies” may even open up your mind and body, freeing you of your senses. Now that’s what I call the full package!
