Giving us the same splintering guitar licks and screaming youthful lyricism that got our attention in the first place, the trio give us the first single off of their soon-to-be released 7″, Sorrow. While only a little over 2-minutes long, “Mimi Ashi” gives us a hard-hitting delivery of pop-rock between it’s broken down drums and lively guitar solo.
As you can see in our past reviews of Oh No! Yoko, we’ve been fans from the start, and as long as the boys keep putting out singles like this, we will continue to be. Just a shame we won’t get to visit them in Europe.
