What's This?

Palm: I was hooked instantly when I stumbled upon their mini EP Ode to Scott my senior year of high school. The Hudson Valley band is set for a full length titled Trading Basics, set to be released through Exploding In Sound and Inflated Records November 16. With two singles, “Crank” and “Ankles” under their belt, the band looks to cement themselves as serious players in the independent circuit. “Ankles” confirmed my love and admiration for the band. It is a frantic and chaotic track with its hypnotizing rhythms and disjointed guitars. It’s hard not to fall into trance with the beautiful mixture of sounds ranging from art rock and post punk, but the band adds another layer of freshness with surprising hooks and melodic vocals.  Palm will embark on a tour in November and I highly recommend you see them live.
