Some songs are so good, that they just can’t be improved. Panama Wedding‘s utterly infectious debut is one of those songs. “All of the People” is the sort of sun-kissed delight that even ice cream can’t compare to. What makes it so delectably good is its killer hook. I could listen to it a thousand times and not grow tired of it — which is probably part of the reason why I’ve listened to it SO. MANY. TIMES. Seeing as I’m so infatuated with “All of the People,” I can’t imagine anyone being able to properly revamp it. Surprisingly enough, though, Savoir Adore have come very close to doing so. What the duo has done is wrap up the original in a coat of synth-y goodness. They have tweaked the vocals, added a bit of sparkle here and there, and most importantly, kept the delightful hook intact — I really couldn’t ask for anything more.
