A couple of years ago — around the same time we first began — we featured the milky embrace of dreamy psych rockers, Their Ocean, and their debut release, Still Waters. On that EP we got a taste of the band’s ambient undertones and their euphoric acoustics, all while being immersed in vocalist, Keith Kreuser’s, breathless singing.
While it has been a while since we’ve seen anything from the duo, we were recently reached out too by the band to see if we wanted to premiere their very first music video, and without a minute of hesitation, we gratefully accepted!
Pieced together by David Dean Burkart, most notably known for his work creating videos for the likes of Alt-J and Purity Ring — yes the one featuring clips of the Swedish horror flick, “Thriller: A Cruel Picture” — the band’s newest single “Breathe” is given a backdrop of 70s beach nostalgia. Between clips of early beach-bods, hurdling waves, and the jangly surf single, the video is sure to get your parents… or yourself reminiscing.
