Siloet - Control

If you find the low-dubbed production style on “Control” oddly familiar, then you’ll be happy to learn that Siloet — the emerging North London duo that created this beauty — is comprised of recent Indie Current favourite, Liam Gallagher (otherwise known as laymedown). Apart from the groovy bass dips and wobbly vocal screws that Liam and his partner-in-crime, Sam Welch, put upon this single, a fine balance of deep bass and clean production remain. “Control” has quite an unique blend of chilling, luscious beats and shifting synth work that mould together effortlessly. And, between the swerving electronics, curvaceous bass drops and assortment of vocal clips, you can’t help but get caught up in the smooth vibe of this single.
