NYC-based dance duo SOFI TUKKER‘s track “Matadora” finds itself in capable hands with a new remix by Medina, a fellow New Yorker and electronic musician . The duo, Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, have released two singles to date and are scheduled to release their debut EP, titled “Soft Animals,” early this spring (they’ve been touring with The Knocks for the past two months). The original track features vocal interpretation of the work of a Brazilian poet and South American strings, creating a sexy and otherworldly vibe that’s only amplified by Medina’s signature touches.  Listen below.
