What's This?

Michael Gira’s Swans have unveiled the first song from their upcoming album, To Be Kind, which is set for release in May. Set to span over two hours, the album will be released as a triple vinyl and will include artwork from Bob Briggs who has been working with Gira for the last three decades. Annie Clark, aka St. Vincent, will provide vocals on the record as well as contributions from Cold Specks and Little Annie, who sings a duet with Gira on the song “Some Things We Do.”

With production help from the dark deity himself, the album was recorded late last year under the heat of the desert sun down in El Paso, Texas. To Be Kind will be released on the 12th of May on Gira’s label, Young God Records, and worldwide via Mute. Check out Swans‘ UK & US dates [here].
