London artist Jordan Rakei and classical composer Richard Melkonian have formed a new ambient soul project called Kwalia. The two began the side project after Melkonian contributed strings to Rakei’s “Rooftops,” off his debut record, Cloak. Kwalia’s debut effort is “Pulse,” a meditative six-minute track.
