Earlier this year we released an all-encompassing review of Flume‘s self-titled debut, Flume. Now, not even a month after our review, we’re back to touching-base with the Australian texture titan in his brand-new video with Chet Faker.
In this one-take video for “Left Alone,” Flume and his fellow countryman Chet Faker play out their dark and somber single in a dimly lit room. Amidst its heavily packed beats, glitchy electronics, and light whistles, the video creates a haunting image of the single and brings to light the saddening lyrics that are layered on top. While it’s not the most “engaging” music video in the world, it has certainly helped re-ignite our love with the 21-year-old, and hopefully will with you as well.
