What's This?

Earlier this month, electronic-pop auteurs argonaut&wasp released one of the grooviest songs we’ve heard in recent memory. Today, they return with a new video for “Higher Ground,” an equally weird, yet wonderful single from the group’s growing collection of funky material.

Enlisting the help of Brooklyn-based director, David Janoff, the video finds the band in all sorts of strange situations: hanging out in the bathroom, jamming in hallways and trying on some new rags at the neighbourhood thrift store. Caught in the midst of all this, Uriel Antonio Fox—the wildly flexible young dancer you see in the video above—recovers from what appears to be a heavy night of drinking and partying, the only way he knows how—dancing through the streets. It’s some pretty mesmerizing stuff.

Watch the video for “Higher Ground” above and stream the song below.
