It wasn’t until yesterday that Baltimore-based duo Andy Stack and Jenn Wasner released their fourth studio record, Shriek. The pair, which you may know as Wye Oak, have now released a video to accompany their uptempo track “Glory,” which so far has been a personal favourite of mine. The track is full of glittering synths, pounding drums and Wasner’s gentle and intriguing vocals. The video, which was directed by Michael Patrick O’Leary and Ashley North Compton, gives off a creepy ’80s vibe. The whole video itself incorporates ice cream, gold shoes, cigarettes, blonde women, and other random items that may or may not have a significant meaning. Watch it below and see for yourself just how weird it really is.
