What's This?

To say that Wet and JONES are two of our favourite new artists would be a gross understatement. Having watched both rise through the ranks over the last two years, we consider them an important part of our identity as tastemakers. It’s no surprise, then, that the proposition of a collaboration sounds very promising. But what was once a lonely pipe dream, has now become reality… Well, sort of.

To promote her latest single “Hoops,” JONES has recruited a team of producers and like-minded musicians to put their own spin on the song. First up, we had salute who took “Hoops” on a stuttering trip through the depths of space. This time, we have Wet who have stretched out the original’s delicate guitar riffs and woozy beats, turning them into slow-moving fragments of emotion. While it’s by no means a collaboration, you can bet we’ve settled for far less in the past.

Listen to Wet’s remix of “Hoops” below and check out JONES’ gorgeous cover of “How Deep Is Your Love” [here].
