What's This?

In the opening line of Wet‘s latest single “Weak,” lead-singer Kelly Zatrau sings “You, you’ll make me weak.” It’s a heartfelt confession rooted in passion, but somewhere in those first few words is a feeling of desperation. As the song unfolds, Zatrau tries to fight her feelings, but eventually she succumbs to her emotions, openly pleading “Baby, please don’t leave me.” While it’s not the first time the singer has shown her vulnerable side, it’s the first time she’s sounded this real. Of course, she can thank her bandmates, Nat Baldwin of The Dirty Projectors, Kelsey Lu McJunkins (cello) and Marques Toliver (violin), for getting her there. Sink in below.
