L.A. electronic producer Zack Sekoff released his supremely dope debut album, Remnants Of A Winter Sun, this time last year. The year prior a beat he made got picked up for Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly. He’s got less than 1,000 followers on Twitter, but among them are acts like Hiatus Kaiyote, Flying Lotus, and Thundercat (who played bass on his track “Debauchery”). Zack Sekoff’s newest effort “15LUV,” featuring collaborator Leven Kali on vocals, was recorded on New Year’s Day of 2017. Working off a consistent vamp, this outrageously lit six-minute jam flips octaves and changes tempos while maintaining a steady simulacrum of funk. Stream it below.
